An homage to Sir Terry Pratchett.
The sleeve and the back piece on Nick is of a different style and category of what I usually do.
Let’s start talking about the sleeve – based on slavic mythology and magic mixed with nordic binderies, it is a tattoo to connect him to his family and heritage from where he originates. The choice of form of bind runes on his arm, slavic style ornaments, the back piece is a different kettle of fish .

Back piece is, well, the communication alone was brilliant. Nick sent an email, asking if I was interested in doing a orangutang tattoo in nordic style. And I sent a reply “As in, librarian discworld orangutang?” And he said yes. Making me very very excited. Coming up with this concept was well, not the easiest and executing it was even more difficult, but personally we managed to create something quite exceptional.
What we have here is a nordic style orangutang face of the librarian himself from disc world novels, in front of him is a big magical tome and floating from his tome is beautiful little magical sigils to give a feeling of magic and power that emanates from everything in the disc world universe. The tattoo was designed and applied and partly outlined by Isar and a lot of execution was done by Mat Bone.
